STRONG winds are set to hit the whole of the UK today, the Met Office has warned.
Weather warnings for rain and wind across much of the UK have been issued and gusts of up to 80mph could be felt in some coastal parts.

Wind is set to hit Bracknell, Wokingham, Reading and the rest of Berkshire from midday Tuesday to 12pm at night.
This will mean delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport and bus and train services are likely to be affected, with some journeys taking longer.
High sided vehicles are also warned to take care when on exposed routes and bridges.

There could also be some short term loss of power.
