1. Bracknell Forest Council incident: Man charged for drink-driving

A MAN is due to appear in court after a woman in her 20s was hit by a car outside Bracknell Forest Council offices last night.

Police were called to Market Street in Bracknell at around 5.30pm yesterday to a report of a car being involved in a collision with a pedestrian.

2. GAME announces store closures in the UK

HIGH street video game store GAME plans to close 40 stores across the UK— and Bracknell could be one of them.

The store has already put up closing down notices on 27 of its branches and is yet to announce the rest of the locations.

4. Council discusses Cantley Park plans

£1.6 MILLION plans to 'enhance' Cantley Park are to be discussed with residents this month.

The plans to spend £1.6 million on the park were announced by Wokingham Borough Council in December 2019.

5. Wokingham leisure centres are discounted for unpaid carers

Bracknell News:

LEISURE CENTRE discounts have been made for Wokingham residents working as unpaid carers.

Wokingham Borough Council announced on January 9 that those registered as unpaid carers from within the borough will now have discounted access to more than five different leisure centres.
