DRIVERS are facing long delays on one of the busiest routes in and out of Reading town centre.
Three-way traffic lights are disrupting traffic flow on the Oxford Road, causing queues to back up in both directions.
The roadworks are at the junction of Western Elms Avenue, near McDonald's.
Delays of more than 30 minutes are being reported and reports show queues backed up towards town to Chatham Street and onto the IDR.
Traffic reports suggest the roadworks should be finished at midnight.
