OTHER local authorities are interested in buying Bracknell Forest’s giant fibre-glass poppies.
The memorials were refurbished this year after some of them took damage having been placed around the borough every year from 2013.
But all poppies installed at more than two dozen locations made it back safe and without damage as Remembrance for 2019 wraps up.

Some of the poppies were stolen in 2016.
The remaining decorations had been refurbished by local businesses and community groups.
Longshot Motors assisted with the repair work, cleaning and spraying of the ornaments, Martin Heron and the Warren Community Association helped fund the painting of the decorations and Continental Landscape managers helped placed the poppies.
Councillor Dorothy Hayes said the ornaments looked “fantastic” at a Bracknell Forest Council meeting last night (Wednesday, November 28).
She also revealed the poppies had attracted the attention of other local authorities, including Milton Keynes Council, which is said to want to purchase the decorations.

Cllr Hayes added: “Given the budget we have, when people heard about the problems with our poppies they came forward.
“This was about working together and that I’m grateful for.
