She said: "The people that use Tilehurst station are so friendly.

"There is a real sense of community and I think this is what I’m talking about when I say running a café is charming – it brings people together for a moment in the mornings – when you’re tired, fed up, it’s way too early, you have a really long day ahead, you’re in a rush – there is that time that can be set aside to say hello and get a nice drink and a snack."

She added: "I would love to say a HUGE thank you to all our customers for their support since we set up.

"To any potential customers, we welcome you!

"Our café is not just for commuters.

"Come see us and pick up a loyalty card – collect the stamps and get a free coffee with a completed card.

"If that doesn’t make you smile the cute picture of my cat on the front will."

The cafe is open Monday to Friday from 6.30am until 10.30am.
