Disruption after person hit by train
THERE were delays on the railway yesterday after a person was hit by a train.
The incident happened between London Paddington and Slough Train stations in the afternoon and impacted services into the evening.
National Rail warned that trains may be delayed by up to 60 minutes or cancelled until 6pm.
South Western Railway services put on an alternative route for Great Western Railway passengers.
Passengers were able to use their tickets on trains between London Waterloo and Reading.
