DRIVERS may find their journeys a little longer as road works are being carried out in Wokingham.
Essential road resurfacing works are starting at California Country Park and the park will be closed to cars from November 4-7.

There will be no access into the car park between 9.30am and 3.30pm and the car park will reopen on November 8.
Wokingham Borough Council posted a tweet to say the cafe will also be closed.

The park will be CLOSED to cars, from 4 to 7 November, between 9:30am – 3:30pm. It will re-open on 8 November

This also means Jackson's Cafe will be closed on November 4 while works are being carried out.
Residents can still access the park by foot on the paths but not by car.
