SUSTAINABLE cups were handed out at a charity fun run to encourage families to be plastic-free.

The annual Twyford Together Charity Fun Run at The Piggot School hydrated joggers with innovative Frugal cups.

Runners were informed about how to stay hydrated while being sustainable by using recyclable Frugal cups.

Frugal cups is the UK's first fully recyclable coffee cup made from recycled paper, offering an environmentally friendly solution to coffee cups.

Hundreds of business, organisations, charities and schools come together at the yearly event to raise awareness to resident's about what action they are doing in the community.

Frugal Cup partnered up with the Twyford Together Charity to raise awareness of their plastic-free product.

Paul McReynolds, head of sales and marketing at Frugalpac, said: “We’re delighted to support community initiatives such as Twyford Together and help to prevent waste at charitable events such as the Fun Run.

"The UK has a big problem with waste ending up in landfill or being incinerated, but there is an alternative in our fully recyclable Frugal Cup. By collaborating with supporters of sustainable alternatives, such as Twyford Together, we can ensure we all play our part in preventing single-use products going to landfill.”
