PROPOSALS to build 81 homes in Bracknell have been sent to planning bosses.

The existing Palm Hills complex, on London Road, is set to be demolished as part of these proposals.

Most of the new homes would be three-bedroom spaces, with 15 being one-bedroom, eight being two-bedroom, and nine being four bedroom.

Parking spaces and 156 cars are proposed as well as a new access point from London Road, mean some trees will be removed.

Developers mapped out plans for 62 homes at the same site in 2014, but planning bosses chucked these out because of poor access and parking designs.

A lack of affordable housing was another reason planners did not give the original proposal the green light, and developers claim they may be prevented from providing affordable homes for this estate too.

No objectins or comments of support have been sent to Bracknell Forest Council's (BFC) planning team yet.
