A BUS company feels "delighted" to be shortlisted for a top award for its quality customer service.
Courtney Buses which operates in Bracknell, has been recognised in the Top Indepedent Operator category at the awards.
Employees have worked on installing a defibrillator in Bracknell Bus station and also helps with local events, providing transport to the Bracknell Ale Festival and centenary celebrations for the end of the First World War.

Simon Fisher, general manager of Courtney Buses, said: “We are delighted that our peers in the industry have recognised the excellent work we have been doing in improving service provision over the last year, for example introducing contactless payments across our fleet of buses to make the boarding process easier. "Initiatives such as our free taster travel for young people and students have encouraged new customers to consider more environmentally sustainable travel.”
Courtney buses has also seen a significant 95 per cent satisfaction rating from commuters.
The Top Independent Operator 2019 award ceremony will be held on November 19 at the Troxy Hotel in London.
