THE days are getting shorter, it's feeling colder and it's officially October which means one thing - Halloween.
We have scoured the best pumpkin patches in and around Berkshire so you can get in the spooky spirit.
Whether you want the perfect Autumnal picture or to carve a pumpkin with the little ones, here are the best and nearest pumpkin patches we could find (if you're willing to drive that is).
1. Tolhurst Organic Partnership C.I.C.
Located in Reading, this pumpkin patch has the grown the most pumpkins on record this year with over 700 to choose from. So get down there quick before they run out.
2. Crockford Bridge Farm
This pumpkin patch has hundreds of pumpkins to choose from with unique patterns and colours. It's a bit of a drive as it is located in Surrey but you can make a day out of it by visiting the garden centre and enjoying a hot drink and cake.
The picking times for pumpkins is October 12 and 13.
3. Cobbs Farm Shop, Hungerford
This farm shop gives little ones the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin and then carve them for an entry price of £3.50. The price includes a Halloween treat and complimentary squash to take home.
Entry times are October, Friday 25th & Saturday 26th - 10am to 4pm*
Sunday 27th - 10am - 3pm*
Monday 28th - Thursday 31st - 10am - 4pm*
