MOTORISTS are sat in queues for up to four miles due to a breakdown on the M4 motorway.

Two lanes are closed on the M4 heading westbound just before junction 11 for Reading due to a crash.

A car has also broken down westbound between junctions 8/9 for Maidenhead and 10 for Wokingham and Bracknell.

Lane one of three is closed.

There is also very slow traffic on the M4 heading east between junctions 4 and 3 following a crash.

All lanes were reopened as of 7.42am, but traffic remains heavy.

Buses and train services are also delayed this morning due to flooding on the roads.

Cow Lane is currently blocked due to flooding under the bridge.

Thames Valley Police are also warning drivers to take extra care when driving due to the severe weather conditions.
