Bargains of the week on Thames Valley Police eBay page

The metal dome is usually spotted in posh hotels or old movies when a meal is presented.

A brand new silver one can be picked up from Amazon for about £10 but Thames Valley Police are flogging off a hallmarked gold one for just 99p.

Its one of 25 weird and wonderful things that the police have listed on their buying and selling page this week, alongside a Prada bag and seven bin bags full of different phone cases.

When things that have been seized in police investigations or handed in at stations go unclaimed the force makes a decision to bin it, donate it or sell it.
