RESIDENTS who may need to access urgent medical care will be able to this Bank Holiday.

The Bracknell Urgent Care Centre (BUCC) is reminding locals they can get help for those who need urgent medical attention without the need of going to A&E.

The centre, run by OnePrimaryCare, is open from 8am until 8pm, seven days a week, 365 days a year, including bank holidays, meaning that it will be open across the bank holiday weekend and on Monday 26th August.

If you need medical treatment or advice which does not need a visit to A&E, Bracknell Urgent Care Centre treats minor injuries and illnesses that require immediate assessment and treatment but do not require care in an A&E Department.

Melissa Parkes, Clinical Service Manager at Bracknell Urgent Care Centre, commented: “We hope both residents and those visiting Bracknell over the bank holiday remain safe and healthy.

"However, in the event that they need urgent care, we will be open to treat all general illness and minor injuries, promptly and conveniently, while leaving A&E departments for people with life-threatening illness.”

No appointment is needed, simply arrive at the Centre and register at the reception desk.
