HUNDREDS of four legged friends competed in agility and best in show competitions to raise awareness for very worthy causes.
Families showed off their furry companion at Bracknell Paws in the Park at South Hill Park, a highly successful year event which sponsors animal rescues and dog charities.
Di Martin, event organiser from Click-2-Heel, said: "There was an excellent turnout, the best we have had in over 7 years it has been running for. "It is all about raising money for charities and raising awareness of opportunities available for dog owners."
Registered charities set up their stalls to inform dog owners about the resources available, such as hydrotherapy which can help arthritic dogs. Berkshire Search and Rescue also impressed guests with their search dogs who found children hidden in tents.
Dogs also took part in different competitions, such as best in show, prettiest bitch competition, dog agility and more.
All of the sponsors helped raise a total of £1,500 for the charities and Di also wants to thank Bracknell Forest Council and Bracknell Town Council for their ongoing support in providing equipment on the day.
