ANOTHER two shops are set to open in Wokingham’s Peach Place later this year.

Neon Sheep, which sells quirky stationery, clothing, homeware and gifts, will occupy the last unit facing Peach Street and will open in the coming months.

It will be joined by Coffee#1, which will open in Peach Place itself.

Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) councillor Stuart Munro, executive member for businesses and economic development, said: “Neon Sheep is a fantastic new up and coming brand who have been taking the high street by storm and gaining a huge following wherever they open.

“They describe their stores as rammed full with wonder from wall to wall and really live up to this statement with their quirky range of stationery, clothing, homeware, and gifts.

“I’m sure they will prove just as popular when they open in Peach Street next month.

“I’m also very pleased to welcome Coffee#1 to Wokingham.

“With their prime location inside Peach Place they will be the perfect place to grab a hot drink and relax outside in the new pedestrianised square soaking up the sun.

“Coffee#1 has won lots of awards and it’s clear why with their commitment to offering great customer service with delicious coffee in a great environment.”

The new outlets will join Waterstones, Clintons Cards, Elle Won, dentists Perfect Smile, The Leafy Elephant, Ripples, Sit & Sip and more in the redeveloped town centre.

Cllr Munro continued: “Wokingham has a reputation for being one of the best places in the country for bringing up a family and we’re really keen to reinforce this across the town.

“That’s why businesses like Neon Sheep, with their appeal to the young of heart at all ages, and Coffee#1, with their warm welcome and family friendly attitude, will be great additions for years to come.”
