MORE than £5,000 has been raised after heartbroken relatives aim to give the "perfect send off" to their loving brother and son.

The family of Cameron Haswell, have set up a Crowdfunding page to fundraise for the funeral.

So far, friends and families have donated £5,429 which aims to give the send off Cameron 'deserves'.

Cameron was reported missing from Sandhurst Memorial Park by his sister Leah on Facebook on August 10.

Hundreds of concerned friends quickly gathered to search for him. posting on social media community groups and on various facebook pages.

However, on Sunday Cameron's family posted that he had passed away and thanked everyone for their support in their efforts to find him.

Now, the family are collecting funds for the 18-year-old's funeral.

Leah said: "I am creating this page as we need some funds to help towards the funeral.

"He was an amazing young boy, with the biggest heart and I believe he deserves the best send off, so any help would be greatly appreciated." Donations have exceeded the target of £2,500 and money is still coming in.

Dawn Deans said: "Myself and Lia are in complete shock and deeply saddened about what's happened. "Sending much love to the whole family during this very sad and devastating time. Rip Cameron xxx."

Richard Webber, who also donated, added: "This news broke the heart of so many people. I knew Cameron since he was a little baby - a few days old. So many memories. RIP mate."

Sophie Groom said: "Thank you to each and every one of you that has donated and showed your love and support for Cameron and his family.

"This family can't believe how much has been raised and not once did they think it would get this high in such a short amount of time, let alone go way beyond the target."
