A DESPERATE search for a teenage boy who disappeared from a skatepark has ended in tragedy.

Cameron Haswell from Blackwater went missing from Sandhurst Memorial Park on Saturday night (August 10).

Family members quickly took to social media for help to find Cameron after he didn't return home from the skatepark at the site.

Hundreds of messages came flooding in on Facebook about the whereabouts of the 18-year-old boy and friends commented on various community facebook pages wanting to help find him.

However, on Sunday (August 11) reports on social media from his sister Leah Haswell have said Cameron 'sadly took his own life'.

A formal inquest which will confirm a cause of death has not yet been opened.

It is currently understood that the death is not being treated as suspicious.

Police forces across Thames Valley and Hampshire have been contacted for a comment but still have no information.
