A PRESCHOOL which has been inspired the Channel 4 TV show, 'Old People's Home for 4 Year Old' is eagerly anticipated to open in January next year.

Puddleduck Preschool and Day Nursery in Ascot is partnering with its neighbours, St David's Care Home where nursery children will be interacting with the elderly to learn new experiences about life.

The preschool currently has a site in Windsor but will be opening its doors at the historic Ascot Priory site.

The school has been shortlisted for Preschool of the Year 2019 by Nursery World and has been rated as Outstanding, so there are high expectations for the new school opening in Ascot in January.

Laura and Kristin who are Mums to young children are opening the new pre-school.

She said: "Kristin and I are so excited to be opening our nursery in Ascot with incredible forest school facilities, strong links with the care home and outstanding early years care and education.

"We are really looking forward to being a part of the Ascot community."

Kristin is a qualified Headteacher with a Masters in Education and has experience leading an Outstanding school in London.

Laura has over 15 years experience in education and is qualified and recognised as an outstanding teacher.
