Cllr David Hilton, cabinet member for Ascot, said: “This year’s Royal Ascot week was brilliant as always.

“The event always brings a huge amount of people to the area and this year was no different. I hope that everyone who did attend will remember their time fondly and come back again next year.

“Thank you to all of the staff and partners who worked tirelessly before, after and during the event to make it as special as it was.”

According to the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead, 17 community wardens worked a collective 328 hours at Royal Ascot.
