SINGING and dancing - this is what Bracknell's MP Dr Phillip Lee has been getting up to at the moment in order to relax and unwind.

The Rhythm and Soul Club put on a performance at the Community Hall in Great Hollands and the MP met with residents, performers and entertainers.

Audience members are encouraged to join in with the beat of the songs, and Katie Dover who runs Phillip's office in Bracknell stepped into the role.

Dr Lee said: "I am so supportive of these types of clubs and grateful for all the people that make them possible.

"There is nothing better for people's general health than to be able to get out, meet people and even have a singsong."

Katie joined in with the performers, and sung a duet of 'All I Ask of You' from the Phantom of Opera with Bill Heffill.

She said: "It was so enjoyable and so much fun. I have told Phillip that now I have a taste for it, I might be lured by the bright lights of Broadway!"

The Rhythm and Soul Club hold singalong sessions for pensioners on the first Friday of the month between 2pm and 4pm.
