A GROUP of men disguised in dark coloured clothing "deliberately" set fire to a cash machine at a Sainsbury's local store this morning.

POLICE have released CCTV images of three men who blew up a cash machine in Heather Ridge Arcade in Camberley at around 3am on July 3.

The incident saw a dark coloured car, believed to be a BMW 5 Series or Audi A6 driving into the car park.

Three men wearing dark coloured hoodies, hats and balaclavas got out of the car and walked up and down, towards the parade of shops for about five minutes.

The men are then seen returning to the car to collect items before attempting to use a substance to cause an explosion inside the cash machine.

No entry was made in the machine and no money was taken.

Police believe the incident has connections to a similar incident in Yately.

A spokesman said: "Anyone with information should contact officers by calling 101 or report online quoting reference number PR/45190069181.

"Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
