AN exciting new pancake truck serving a variety of crepes and juices has opened at a popular park in Bracknell.

Al Crepes & Cafe, situated in Savernake Park, is a mobile cafe offering a variety of sweet and savoury crepes, freshly squeezed juices and coffee.

Adrian Arnautu set up his business after him and his wife Liliana's love affair for crepes.

He said: "In our past travels and holidays, we would always go and eat crepes - especially in France, we just fell in love with it and that is how we got into making crepes."

The couple from Romania have lived in Bracknell for 10 years and felt there was a lack of dessert places to go to.

Al Crepes & Cafe currently serves Nutella based pancake options, with a choice of banana, strawberries, cinnamon, lemon and sugar and their classic 'Al Berries' which is the couple's favourite fruit, strawberries, blueberries and raspberries all-in-one.

They also offer customers a choice of savoury crepes, such as pepperoni and cheese, ham and cheese and chicken, pesto and cheese and spinach.

Adrian said: "We are pleased with what we currently have and want to be known for our good quality products and we want to stick to one thing and do it good.

"We want to be known as 'The pancake truck of Bracknell', somewhere people can come grab a crepe, a good coffee and go for a walk."

The ex-restaurant managers favourite crepe is the Nutella and banana choice and believes it will be a "top seller".

'it is the beginning of the road for us but we are growing and we are trying to get it through word of mouth'.

Residents can also enjoy healthier options, with freshly squeezed orange or lemonade, carrot, apple and mint or purchase a Lavazza coffee to go.

Adrian kindly made me their their 'best seller' to try and I really enjoyed it, it was perfectly chocolatey and the texture was light and fluffy.

I would recommend residents to go and visit the truck and support a local business.
