Liberal Democrat MEP Judith Bunting met with residents earlier in the week to discuss the future of the UK in Europe.
Mrs Bunting spoke to the Wycombe branch of Liberal Democrats at a community barbecue to discuss the current Brexit situation and her own personal plans for the future.
She spoke about her aim to gain a position on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection Committee, where she intends to help support businesses in Buckinghamshire who export products to the continent.
Chair of Wycombe Liberal Democrats Ian Morton said: “I was delighted that Judith Bunting was able to spare some time to come and personally thank local supporters for helping her successful election to the European parliament.
"She will be a much-needed voice for local businesses who export to Europe as they navigate the confusion around Brexit.”
