A TECHNOLOGY company in Bracknell has teamed up with a primary school to support the launch of the largest community festival organised by a school.

SIRE Technology an IT solutions company based in Crowthorne has been helping St Margaret Clitherow primary school to support festival in the Park on Saturday, June 29.

The festival has been organised to help raise money for the Bracknell school and will have music from local bands including Red Tape Resistance, Platinum Floyd and also ex-pupil band members, Project 7.

Russell Cook, managing director of SIRE Technology, said: “As a company that’s been based in the area for over 25 years and a firm supporter of the local community, we’re really proud to be sponsoring such as wonderful event which will bring together families and friends, support local music artists and neighbouring businesses, and raise much needed funds for the local school.”

SIRE employs over 14 permanent staff and delivers IT solutions that help local and national organisations.

Since 2017 the technology team has been supporting their chosen charity partner Dingley’s Promise based in West Berkshire. They deliver life changing support to under 5’s with additional needs and disabilities.

Mr Cook added: “We pride ourselves on our long-standing relationships and being the partner that always delivers, whether that’s with clients or when working with local charities or organisations.”

“The team at SIRE has really loved working with St Margaret Clitherow and we look forward to seeing the home grown, super talented bands from Bracknell perform throughout the day.”

David Masters, headteacher at St Margaret Clitherow primary school is grateful for the support.

He said: “Local companies such as SIRE Technology, have made this event possible and so we thank them for the support. We are hoping this will be a really uplifting community event that is only just the start."
