COUNCILLOR Pauline McKenzie has been warmly welcomed as the new Mayor of Bracknell Forest at the annual council meeting held on Wednesday.
Cllr Mckenzie has represented College Town ward since 2011 and will take over the role of outgoing Mayor, Cllr Alvin Finch who raised £16450,00 for Wokingham, Bracknell and District Mencap.
She said: “I am honoured to represent the residents of Bracknell Forest and look forward to meeting residents over the next year.”
Her appointment as Mayor comes after the recent elections and she is looking forward to welcoming the new recently elected members and being on hand to assist them.
