A POPULAR Cbeebies band is set to entertain youngsters at The Lexicon during the May school half-term.

Mr Bloom & His Band, a five piece band from Cbeebies will perform all of their hit singles from the show and some kids classes for families to sing-a-long too as well.

Mr Bloom's Nursery is an educational children's television program on BBC's CBeebies.

Ben Faulks who plays Mr Bloom, is a gardener who helps children to get involved and inspired by nature.

Mr Bloom, said: "At the end of a long days gardening and once the veggies are asleep, there is nothing I like to do more than get together with friends on the allotment and play some songs.

"It will be so much fun bringing the band along to Bracknell town centre to perform our show. I cannot wait."

The Cbeebies cast will be performing a two 45 minute sets under the canopy in Bond Square on May 28 at 11am and 3pm.

Sue Boor, head of marketing at The Lexicon, said: "We are looking at new ways of bringing family entertainment to the town centre and think that Mr Bloom & His Band will provide something different and exciting to entertain local children."

Families with children will get to see Dibber on bass guitar, Uncle Mickey on keys, Rodney White-fingers on drums and Mr Bloom playing the Ukulele.
