Crisp packets, McDonald's and Greggs packaging and other litter was piled high in the footwell of a vehicle that was pulled over in Marlow today.

Police said the mess was "so bad it was dangerous" - because the rubbish was even under the driver's foot pedals.

The driver was given points on his licence and a fine - and was arrested for an unconnected matter.

Although Thames Valley Police did not respond to requests for clarification, the vehicle in question appears to be a van.
