South Reading clinched the Reading Sunday League Division Three title by beating AFC Lowfield Green 3-1 in a midweek fixture, their goals coming from their reliable scorer Cary Grant, Kian Sawyer and Ethan James, with John Smith replying for the visitors.

But their celebrations may have affected their performance on Sunday as they looked well below par, losing 5-2 at Tilehurst Club Reserves, with Sukhbir Hunjan getting both their goals.

This defeat, only their second in the league this season, gave them the title by just one point from Shinfield Park United.

AFC Lowfield Green, with a final placing of third, were awarded a home win after Kings United had pulled out of the fixture.

Fourth place goes to Theale following their 5-1 victory over Mortimer, thanks maily to a James Rattenbury hat-trick and a goal each for Sam Bernard and Jake Wheeler.

Sub Archie Coles pulled one back for Mortimer, who trailed 3-0 at the break.

Last weekend's remaining Division One fixture wasn't played, with Henley Town receiving a walk-over at the expense of Woolhampton Cricket.

Henley finish third in the table with Woolhampton two places behind them.

Jay Wiltshire was credited with all six goals as Wokingham & Emmbrook inflicted a 6-1 defeat on Arborfield, leaving the local rivals sixth and bottom respectively in the final Division Two placings.

Borussia Teeth secured a third-place finish in Division Four after being awarded a walkover win for a cancelled fixture with second-bottom Tilehurst Titans.

They moved two points above the fourth club Earley Elite.

Wayback Wanderers and Shinfield Rangers fought out a goalless stalemate, leaving them eighth and ninth respectively in the final standings.

l SANCHEZ Storm and Michael Roberts shared the goalscoring honours as Wycliffe Wanderers defeated Norreys 4-3 in the Thames Valley Church League, having led 3-1 at half-time.

For Norreys, Adam Toft scored one goal and assisted in two others for Adam Bell and Jacob Potter.

Wycliffe remain 12th in the table and Norreys seventh.
