DOGS have been taking centre stage today while people have been venturing out to their local polling station and casting their votes.
As people across Berkshire go to the polls, their beloved pooches will often join them for a walk and pose for a photo.

Since the polls opened at 7am, residents have been sharing their snaps of their dogs outside the polling station.
This is the biggest set of local elections in England's four-year electoral cycle, with more than 8,400 seats being contested.
