POLICE have released CCTV images of two men they would like to speak to following incidents of burglary and attempted burglary in Wokingham.

The first occurred at around 3.20am on Sunday, April 28, at a property on Bean Oak Road.

The offenders tried to gain access via the bi-folding door at the rear of the property, and a few failed attempts, smashed the glass panel of the door.

This set the burglar alarm off and the offenders exited via a side wall to the property and ran down Woodrow Drive.

The second incident occurred later the same morning at around 4am on Rances Lane.

The victim, a 47-year-old woman, was woken by a knock at her front door.

She went downstairs and looked through a window and saw a man standing at her door with what she believed to be a weapon.

He left without gaining entry or causing damage.

Investigating officer detective constable Paul Bentley, based at Loddon Valley police station said: "I am releasing CCTV images of these men as I believe that they may have information that is vital to this investigation.

"I am urging anybody who recognises these men or has any information in relation to either of these incidents to contact police on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference ‘43190126766’ or make a report online.
