ASCOT racecourse has announced that they will run a three-year digital content series following eight foals being born at a farm.

The aim is to follow the foals and showcase their journey from birth to becoming a racehorse.

The fouls were born at Tweehills Farm in Gloucester, a prime stock rearing land location with paddocks and oak trees.

The series will feature exclusive access and interviews with the team at Tweenhills and the footage will be edited by Ascot’s Digital, Broadcast and Content team. It will be released across Ascot’s channels with a quarterly update on the foals’ progress.

The three year digital video series will be made with the racecourses official partner QIPCO.

Juliet Slot, Chief Commercial Officer at Ascot Racecourse believes this will give anyone who watches the videos a real insight into racehorse life.

She said: “This is a really exciting project and we can’t wait to follow the foals’ progress.

"We are delighted to be able to work with our partners, QIPCO in such an innovative way and we hope this will give a real insight into how a racehorse begins its life, something that has not been done before."
