An APP designed to provide information about areas in Bracknell and make it easier for residents to plan ahead, has finally launched.

AccessAble Guides, supported by Bracknell Forest Council and The Lexicon, is a detailed accessibility app with key information about the borough, including the town centre, South Hill Park and Coral Reef.

The guides include facts, figures and photographs about the area, and specific information about locations to help residents in the borough.

Timothy Wheadon, chief executive of Bracknell Forest Council, said: "The AccessAble guide is a really helpful tool, enabling people to get information on the go about accessible facilities at key locations in the borough, including The Lexicon.

"We want as many people as possible to enjoy all the wonderful leisure and retail facilities Bracknell Forest has to offer, so if you haven't had a look already I would urge you to visit the website or download the free app." The app is there to provide all the information to make planning ahead easier, with surveyors visiting the sites and gathering information about parking, opening times and the venue itself.

Rob Morris, general manager at The Lexicon, said: "Our aim is to make The Lexicon as accessible as possible to everyone.

"Resources such as AccessAble and Changing Places help make this aim a reality.

"We will be encouraging those retailers and restaurants, not already part of AccessAble to work with the council to create additional individual shop guides."
