POLICE have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to interview after he attempted to burgle a property and confronted a 15-year-old girl.

The incident happened on Saturday, March 20 in Ashbourne in Bracknell when the man knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer it.

He then entered the property.

A 15-year-old girl was inside the house at the time and challenged the offender, making him leave.

She was not injured during the incident.

The offender in the e-fit image is white, in his 50s, approximately five foot and seven inches tall with short hair and stubble.

He was wearing dark, tinted glasses, a navy coloured jacket and black tracksuit bottoms.

Case Investigator, Claire Morgan, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “We are appealing for anyone who recognises the E-Fit of the offender to please get in touch.

“Anyone with information can call the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference ‘43190084733’ or make a report online.

“Alternatively, you can make a report anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
