THE ANNUAL Binfield Easter egg hunt currently has over 40 eggs on display around the village for residents to find across the Easter holidays.

The creative displays are scattered around the village in Bracknell, for residents to find using a map.

The annual event has been going for the past four years to raise funds for the Binfield Pre School and is run by volunteers.

Chris Lunn and his wife Vikcy came up with the idea and organise plotting the maps, designing them, printing them and gather the chocolate awards.

Chris said: "Over that time it's grown both in terms of the number of displays which have been made and also the number of people coming to do the hunt.

“It's a fantastic way to enjoy a few hours out and about with the kids and in actual fact we've had running groups going round and even pensioners taking part just for fun.

"There are so many people to think including the team at the Pre School who are constantly involved through the week, the guys in the local coffee shop, village store and Paish office selling the maps, the display makers and not least the Easter Bunny himself."

The Easter bunny will make several surprise appearances throughout the duration of the Easter hunt.

Residents can buy maps from Crema Coffee shops, village stores and the Parish office.

The Easter egg hunt runs from Saturday April, 13th to Monday, April 22 April.
