FOOD lovers will now get to enjoy a meal from a click of a button as a popular takeaway app comes to Bracknell.

Uber Eats has announced that from March 28, residents will be able to order food using the food delivery app.

The delivery service has already proven popular in Reading and locals will be pleased to know they will also have access to ordering their favourite takeaway.

Toussaint Wattinne, general manager of Uber Eats UK, said: "We have been blown away with how popular the app has been in Reading and Farnborough so we are really excited to be expanding further into Bracknell."

A variety of restaurants are currently signed up to the delivery service, including B&B Kebab, Spice Lounge and Charcoal Grill.

Residents will be able to order food on the Uber Eats App from their phone from 8am to midnight, Monday to Friday.

Toussaint added: "People can now get great food at the touch of a button delivered straight to their home of office.

"We have partnered with plenty of restaurants so we hope there will be something for everyone's tastes."

Users will have to download the free app and create a free account, entering your location.

Then you can browse the local restaurants on offer, or search by cuisine type and dietary requirements.

The app also allows you to schedule when your order arrives and a tracking option to get updates on when the food is prepared and delivered.
