MOTORISTS suffered delays this afternoon due to a tree falling down on A329.
The road has now finally been cleared after drivers queued in traffic.
Highways England quickly removed the tree off the road.
A Thames Valley Police spokesman, said: "We were called at around 5.15pm yesterday to reports that a tree had fallen across the Reading Road, A329 Winnersh.
"A road closure was put in place and Highways Agency attended to remove the tree."
The tree had fallen on the a329 Reading Road Winnersh, southbound towards the M4 motorway
A yellow weather warning from the met office is in place due to strong winds.
Motorists are advised to take extra care when driving, with delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges.
