GARDENING enthusiasts gathered together on Thursday (March 7) to celebrate the 25th anniversary of a popular club.
Award winning garden designer and TV presenter Chris Beardshaw handed out awards to three members who 'worked continuously' for the club.
Binfield Garden Club, which was set up by Alan Foster in 1974, originally was set up to be a community hub for village members of all ages.
Since then, the club has taken part in RHS Flower Show, hosting BBC Gardener's World and visiting schools, encouraging gardening.
Alan Foster was handed an Award of Appreciation, as well as Ruth Fawcett and Deanna Lee.
The chairman gave a toast to the future of the club and thanks to the committee who helped to make the evening a success.
Members visit at Binfield Memorial Hall at 7.15pm on the first Thursday of each month.
