NOMINATIONS for this year's Thames Valley Hospitality Awards are now open.

Following the huge success of last year, the first edition of the awards, event organisers are keen to receive success stories from across the industry.

There are new accolades for 2019, including the Wedding Venue of the Year and Achiever of the Year.

This year also sees a change of venue for the gala awards dinner on April 28, with guests set to turn out for a special night at De Vere Wokefield Estate.

Marc Allridge, co-organiser, said: “We are really excited to launch again for 2019. After the first awards created such a buzz in the industry we are delighted to be back.

“We are also very excited about our new categories. We would love people from managers to brides to nominate in the Wedding Venue of the Year category.

"We want to hear from all those caterers who work away behind the scenes and often don’t get recognised for their efforts; winning Outside Caterer of the Year would fix that."

The other awards include Hotel of the Year, Restaurant of the Year, Best Breakfast and much more.

Hilary Scott, another organiser of the hospitality awards, added: “We had so many entries in our first year it was amazing.

"I hope that we will get more this year now we are a bit better known. And remember, if you missed out last year, you can enter again.”
