DANI Harmer Productions came to Camberley theatre, where local dance schools performed alongside the Bracknell-born actress in a successful show.

The Dani Harmer Academy performed at the theatre on Sunday, February 24 in a show called 'Dancing with Dani'.

The academy is designed for children and young adults who want to develop their performing skills.

Each week students join in with singing, dancing and drama lessons at the Edgbarrow School, Crowthorne.

Dani Harmer opened the company with her mother Jill Harmer in 2013.

Jill said: "It was great to see local dance and performing art schools come together to showcase their talents. From tap dancing to cheerleading, and with lots of other styles of dance and some amazing singing, this really was a great variety show.

"The atmosphere backstage was electric and had a real sense of community.

"Dani was delighted to be involved with the production and was blown away by the local talent."

Joe Tracini from Hollyoaks hosted the show and local schools participating included the Dani Harmer Academy The Harmerettes, Rebekah's School of Dance, The Secret Stage School, Stagecoach Camberley, Starlet School of Dance, Lynnette Stephenson Academy of Dance and Legacy Allstars Cheerleaders.
