BLUEBIRD Care in Reading and Wokingham have been celebrating valentine’s day in their annual Strictly Valentines Dance.

Office members, carers and residents across the boroughs were taught dance moves by the Reading based School of Dance.

Care teams also delivered their annual wooden red rose and a voucher to book in a free call with the care provider.

Rebecca Hawkins, business development manager at Bluebird Care, said: “Valentines week at Bluebird Care was really great.

“I just love seeing all our customers faces together and seeing all our carers out and visiting everyone.

“Bluebird Care make a great difference to some people’s lives and that is thanks to the hard work of our carers, just knowing what one hour can mean to someone is what this is all about and I cannot wait to do it again next year.”

Bluebird Care say customers have enjoyed spending the voucher, which they have given out for the past five years.

A customer said: “I have been with bluebird Care for four years now and every valentine’s day I receive my wooden red rose along with my cupid letter and voucher. This is such a lovely idea and means a lot to someone like me who lives alone.”
