A VIRTUAL reality has come to a shopping centre to entertain children and shoppers through fairy tales.

The Lexicon in Bracknell is hosting a magical experience, where shoppers download an app to scan the sculptures and flyers to bring up a fairy tale character.

Customers will get to enjoy searching for the other characters to complete the story, narrated by a fairy godmother who guides you to Princess Elle, who is trying to find her own Prince.

The activity aims to encourage children to use their imaginations throughout the February half term.

Sue Boor, marketing manager at The Lexicon, said: "The fairy tale is the first in a series of fables and fairy trail themed activities that we will be running over the coming months.

"The activities will bring a touch of fantasy and fun for all the family to The Lexicon."

Visitors will need to install a free app 'Artivive' and hold their phone in front of the fairy trails banners found in the shopping centre.

The happily ever after experience will be running from February 5 to March 31.
