NURSERY children took part in celebrating Burns Night in an 'authentic' way after a childs grandparent turned up to play the bagpipes.
On January 23, children at Kids Inc Nursery in Crowthorne danced and waved their Scottish flags to celebrate Burns Night.
A childs Grandad turned up in traditional dress and played the bagpipes to bring a touch of Scotland to the playground.
Rebecca Owen, nursery manager said: "The event was a success and all the staff and children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
"Children danced around and waved their flags to the sound of bagpipes while shouting 'more' when he stopped playing."
When the kids started the day, they created their very own Scottish flags to take with them and wave at the event.
Burns Night celebrates the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns. A traditional supper is held near to the poets birthday.
