HOMEOWNERS from a Bracknell retirement development have been celebrating after the site wins an award for its design.

The McCarthy and Stone’s Birch Place development in Crowthorne has been awarded the Best Regional Interior of the South East.

The site has a community lounge, a restaurant and landscaped gardens, created by HQC Interiors who work on projects throughout the UK.

Grant Bolam, managing director at HQC Interiors said: “We’re so pleased that Birch Place has been awarded Best Regional Interior of the South East.

“Elegance was key when designing the scheme, and the palette chosen to create the look was a mixture of silvers, greys and soft blue tones."

The interior designers have worked closely with the McCarthy developer for thirty years and have specially created the design for The Birch Place Retirement Living Plus development.

Peter Ford, managing director for McCarthy said: “We are delighted to award Birch Place with the accolade of Best Regional Interior of the South East.

“We design our developments with our homeowners in mind, and we wanted to celebrate Birch Place’s many stand-out features.

"They can also feel secure in the knowledge that the Estates Manager is on hand to provide any help or support should they need, while also benefiting from tailored domestic and personal assistance packages to help homeowners manage their day-to-day lives."

The homes are all for people aged 70 and over, for more information on the designs visit www.mccarthyandstone.co.uk/birchplace.
