A MONTH long campaign, which saw 24 live Christmas performances in Wokingham represented each day of an advent calendar.
The Wokingham Living Advent Calendar welcomed a range of festive performances throughout December to count down to Christmas Day.
The performances included live bands, choirs and theatre groups, who all remained a secret until the day of the event to resemble a real life advent calendar.
Councillor Gwynneth Hewetson said: "the Living Advent Calendar has become a welcome precursor to Christmas Day, a daily opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere with good entertainment."
The calendar included a range of music from St Sebastian Wokingham, The Babarettes, Hula Monkeys and the Jaxannah group. A stand up comedy performance from Ian Macdonald and a live Nativity theatre performance.
Local School children also joined in with the count to Christmas by decorating the Christmas Tree in Wokingham Town Centre.
