ASCOT Racecourse have held the last Raceday meeting of the year in a big Christmas celebration.
The Christmas Family Raceday was full of activities for adults and children to celebrate festivities.
They included a visit from Farther Christmas and his reindeer, storytelling from Mrs Christmas, pony rides and a carol singing concert.
The Raceday, which took place on Saturday, December 22 also revealed the Ascot’s Giant Gingerbread Grandstand, which took more than 400 hours to bake and design.
Claire Clark, international pastry chef said: "it is the largest gingerbread project I have worked on, it is six metres long by 2 metres wide and 90 kilos of gingerbread dough."
The Gingerbread Grandstand formed part of Mrs Claus' Kitchen where she hosted her Christmas storytelling and gingerbread decorating for children.
On the racecourse a series of races took place including a Handicap Race and a Long-distance Hurdle race.
