HOMEOWNERS and staff from a retirement development were joined by a choir for an afternoon of Christmas music.

Residents and staff at McCarthy and Stone’s Birch Place Retirement Living Plus development in Crowthorne were accompanied by the choir from the St Michael and All Angels Church.

Everyone from the development on Duke’s Ride watched the choir perform Christmas carols to get into the festive spirit.

Sally-Anne Randall Sales Executive at Birch Place said: “we would like to say a big thank you to the St Michael and All Angels Church choir and to our homeowners who helped to make our Christmas event so memorable.

“We were delighted to be joined by so many local retirees and their families who not only had a fun festive day out, but they also had the opportunity to see first-hand what a happy and thriving community we have at Birch Place.”

Sally-Anne presented the All Angles Church with a £250 cheque to go towards the church’s Winspire project. The money will help repair windows and the spire before the church’s 800th anniversary in 2020.

New homeowners at the event also got to talk with retirees who have already been living at the development.
