A HOUSEBUILDER has donated a variety of gifts to a Wokingham based charity run by parents.

The Linden Homes’ Chiltern Division has donated the Christmas gifts to the Building for the Future charity.

The Wokingham charity is based in Our House in the town centre and has been set up by parents who provide activities, support and therapy for children with disabilities and additional needs.

Hannah Tyler who organised the present collection at Linden Homes, said: “Christmas should be an exciting time for children and families.

“We asked our colleagues and the local community to dig deep and help spread some extra festive cheer to those who would really benefit from some extra Christmas treats!”

Building for the Future was one of the first charities to be nominated for the Christmas present appeal this year.

Jane Holmes, CEO of Building for the Future, added: “we are so grateful to Linden Homes Chiltern for providing these fantastic toys for our community centre for disabled children.

“As a parent-run charity we know only too well how important exciting new toys are for the children we support.”

A selection of gifts will be arranged by the team from Linden Homes and will arrive in time for Christmas.
