ENTHUSIASTIC rowers were cheered on by the Mayor of Wokingham at a charity rowathon.
Me2 Club held the fundraising event in Woodley on Monday as part of UK Charity Week to help support children with additional needs.
The goal of rowing 115km on two machines was achieved by members of Ellis Knight Bespoke Recruitment, Magal AWT, Sage and KJS Solicitors.
Liz McDaniel, Me2 Club's fundraising and development officer, said: “It was a fantastic achievement, especially in such heavy rain, and we are delighted to have such a growing swell of local support."
Teams were spurred on by visitors, including mayor John Kaiser.
