A FESTIVE campaign, which will see a month of live performances in Wokingham kicked off on Saturday
St Sebastian started the Wokingham Living Calendar on Saturday, December 1.
The free performance kicked off at 4pm with surrounding business in the town hosting 20 minutes of free entertainment.
Councillor Gwynneth Hewetson said: “The Living Advent Calendar has become a welcome precursor to Christmas Day - a daily opportunity to connect with friends and colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere with good entertainment.”
Performances will carry on throughout the month, including live bands, choirs and theatre performances. Just like a real advent calendar each performer will remain secret until the day and can be found on their interactive online calendar.
The performances will continue at 6pm on weekdays and 4pm on weekends, for more information about the Wokingham Living Advent Calendar and to see the interactive calendar visit http://wokinghamadvent.org.uk/calendar
